Pastor Steve Smith
Senior Pastor
Reverend Steve Smith focuses his ministry efforts in teaching the historical biblical ideas, stories, concepts, theories, and events and brings to the conversation the ways to make them applicable and relevant for today. Continuing to press the question, "How can we apply what we read and believe in the Old and New Testament, our faith, to our lives today?"
God relevant today. Christ realized today. Holy Spirit ministering today - to us, through us. With an earnest desire to bring others to the love and understanding of Christ's salvation.
Steve has been an ordained minister since 2001 with numerous pastoral opportunities in Wichita, Kansas, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Norman, Oklahoma and Midwest City, Oklahoma. He holds a Master of Divinity from Oral Roberts University, a Bachelor of Science from Southwestern College (Winfield, Kansas), and an Associate of Science from Embry-Riddle University.
In addition to this current pastorate, he is co-vocational as a program manager. He is a veteran of both the USMC and USAF. He enjoys other interests to include motorcycle riding, CrossFit, Wild Bunch Action Shooting, Amateur Radio, Hiking, Golf (ish) and dabbles in writing poetry.
Steve is married to Paula, they recently celebrated their 37th wedding anniversary, they have two adult children and one grandchild.
